Position: Special Events Manager
About: The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a Special Events Manager to lead the development and implementation of all employee appreciation, recognition initiatives, and special events aimed at enhancing culture, improving employee satisfaction, and increasing productivity. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, or related field required, along with 5 years of Project Management Experience including 1 year of customer relations management experience. Preferred qualifications include five years of special event experience. Must be advanced in Website Design (WordPress), PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook. Proficiency in livestream and virtual platforms is essential.
