Position: Special Events Coordinator – Athletics
About: Under the general supervision of the Athletic Director, the Special Events Coordinator – Athletics at Parks & Recreation in Atlanta plans, develops, and supervises athletics and recreation programs for the City of Atlanta.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management or related field required; 3+ years of experience in organizing and coordinating athletic events and programs; Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal guidelines for recreational programs; Excellent communication and organizational skills; Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders; Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed; Physical ability to perform manual labor tasks.
