Position: Special Events Coordinator
About: The National Fitness Center, a part of In-Shape Solutions, LLC operating as In-Shape Family Fitness, is seeking a Special Events Coordinator to plan and implement programs and activities for youth, adults, families, and the community. The role aims to promote a family atmosphere, health, fitness, wellness, and community partnerships while generating revenue for the programs department and the overall facility.
Requirements: High school degree or equivalent; 1-2 years’ experience in health, fitness, recreation, child development, or club environment, or 2 years supervisory experience; above average/intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, Publisher, internet, and email applications); above average writing, spelling, and math skills; strong service orientation; strong oral and written communication skills; professionalism and cooperation; willingness to travel occasionally for company meetings; passion for fitness/health/wellness industry
