Position: Special Events Coordinator
About: Under the direction of the Special Events and Communications Manager, the Events Coordinator is responsible for event planning support, logistical coordination, communication, and collaboration for an organization. This role involves assisting in conceptualizing, planning, and executing various types of events, managing event logistics, collaborating with vendors and service providers, and ensuring successful on-site event support.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; 1-2 years of experience with event planning; 1-2 years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs; valid Ohio Driver’s License; ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen; knowledge of event planning, organizational practices, and risk management; skills in event planning, communication, creative thinking, networking, problem-solving, time management, and interpersonal communication; ability to work independently, make informed decisions, and establish effective working relationships; must be able to handle sensitive information and difficult situations effectively.
