Position: Special Events & Community Relations Specialist
About: The Salvation Army’s Springfield Corps Community Worship and Service Center in Springfield, Ohio is seeking a Special Events & Community Relations Specialist to organize, promote, and support special events that fund critical programs. This role involves collaborating with Corps officers, managing social media accounts, coordinating fundraising efforts, and representing the organization at community events.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or 2-4 years’ experience in a non-profit setting; strong social media and communication skills; detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively; proficient in Microsoft Office applications and internet searches; valid driver’s license with clean record
