Position: Special Event Leader-Seasonal
About: Assists with a variety of recreation activities and special events duties for community events or in conjunction with community partners. This position requires a flexible work schedule that includes day, evening, and weekend shifts. The salary range for this position is $15.50-$20.47 per hour depending on qualifications and experience. This position will be hiring mid-April to mid-May. Position will remain open until filled.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; Flexible work schedule including day, evening, and weekend shifts; Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications preferred; Leadership, teamwork, interpersonal skills and excellent customer service skills required; Communication skills both verbally and in writing with co-workers and patrons; Ability to work with children of all ages; Organizational and prioritization skills with attention to detail; Effective time management and task execution skills; Uses independent, sound judgment to react quickly and appropriately in emergency situations
