Position: Special Event Coordinator
About: The Atlanta Ballet is seeking a Special Events Coordinator to provide direct support to the Special Events Manager, assisting with administrative tasks, event planning, organization, and implementation. This role includes responsibilities such as on-site event management, vendor contract management, catering, financial management, and coordinating with event volunteers and donors. The Coordinator will also work with the Individual Giving team and serve as the liaison for the Atlanta Ballet’s Corps de Ballet auxiliary guild.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience with 1-2 years in Development or Advancement; proficiency in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; knowledge of CRM Software, experience with Tessitura or Raiser’s Edge preferred; digitally literate; ability to attend evening events and performances, weekend work required; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
