Position: Spa Coordinator
About: Check in spa guest/members courteously and efficiently; process all payments according to established spa requirements. Provide information and assistance to all guest/members and visitors. The work environment includes the spa front desk, office, and involves working under variable conditions, noise levels, indoors, outdoors, around fumes, odor hazards, dust, mite hazards, and chemicals. Key relationships: Internal – Staff in Spa, Gym, Pool, Food and Beverage, PBX, Reservations, Front Desk, Laundry, Housekeeping, Accounting, and Engineering. External – Hotel guest/members/visitors, vendors.
Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent vocational training certificate; ability to compute basic arithmetic; fluency in English both verbally and non-verbally; provide legible communication and directions; ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy; prioritize and organize; be a clear thinker, remain calm and resolve problems using good judgment; follow directions thoroughly; understand guest/member’s service needs; work cohesively with coworkers; work with minimal supervision; maintain confidentiality of guest/member information and pertinent resort data; ability to input and access information in property management system/computers/point of sales system.
