Position: Sous Chef- Toucan Charlie’s Gourmet Buffet
About: Atlantis Casino Resort Spa is seeking a dedicated and experienced Sous Chef to join their team. The Sous Chef will report to the Chef De Cuisine, demonstrating leadership and organizational skills, and stepping in as the Primary Manager in the kitchen when needed. The role involves collaborating with the culinary team to develop menus, ensuring adherence to all kitchen policies and procedures, and maintaining high food quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of cooking experience required; Must have experience operating in a similar role for a minimum of 1 year; Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment; Must be able to stoop, bend, reach, kneel, twist, grasp items, push, and pull while performing kitchen duties; Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds; Experience and proven track record with deluxe hotels or reputable free-standing restaurants
