Position: Sous Chef – Tao Restaurant Chicago

About: Tao Group Hospitality is currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced team member to work with the Executive Chef in supervising the heart-of-house operations and team members. The company is dedicated to ensuring gracious hospitality and maintaining a high standard of service in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Requirements: Minimum 2 years of previously Sushi sous/cook experience; Minimum 2-3 years of previous Culinary supervisory/management experience within a high-volume kitchen setting is essential; Two-year associate degree (60 credit hours) in Culinary Arts or equivalent work experience preferred; Strong menu planning, coaching, team building, problem-solving, and leadership skills required; Must be organized, self-motivated, and proactive with strong attention to detail; Proficient with computers (Microsoft Products), POS, and technology
