Position: Sous Chef job
About: Omni Hotel at The Battery Atlanta, located in northern Atlanta’s newest mixed-use community, serves as the official hotel of the Atlanta Braves. Situated steps away from SunTrust Park, premier office space, the Coca-Cola Roxy music venue, and various shopping and dining options, our luxury hotel features 16 floors with 264 rooms, including 28 suites. With over 20,000 square feet of meeting space, we cater to business travelers, vacationing families, and guests in between. Redefining the concept of ‘live, work, play,’ we offer a unique experience with amenities like the elevated pool deck, Lobby Bar, and hotel restaurant.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; Experience in high-quality hotel or freestanding restaurant desirable; Excellent communication skills both written and verbal; Ability to solve problems in high-stress situations; Excellent food technique and cultural knowledge; Advanced butchery knowledge; Ability to plan and execute projects and quantify results; Ability to delegate work with proper instructions and follow-up; Must be able to work standing on your feet for at least 8 hours per day; Must be able to lift and carry at least 30 pounds; Must have color vision and depth perception for food preparation and presentation; Ability to communicate within the kitchen; Serve Safe certified food manager required
