Position: Sous Chef job
About: SodexoMAGIC is a joint venture between Sodexo and Magic Johnson, providing services to communities with a focus on positive impact. The role is for a Sous Chef at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL, a renowned accredited non-profit tertiary care hospital and a major teaching facility for the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine.
Requirements: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required; strong culinary background and ability to stay current with culinary trends; Servsafe certified with knowledge of HACCP and Health and Safety audits; excellent leadership, communication, and management skills; experience in high-volume facilities, catering, dining, and upscale environments; proficiency in menu planning, forecasting, food cost management, and inventory control; proven track record in leading and developing culinary teams; creative problem-solving and project management skills
