Position: Sous Chef job
About: Firebirds, an upscale restaurant and FIREBAR located in various locations, is seeking a dedicated Sous Chef to partner with the Executive Chef in overseeing back of house operations and food production. The Sous Chef will be responsible for providing direction, training, and support to team members, managing butchering and portion control, as well as handling administrative tasks such as scheduling and ordering.
Requirements: 2 years high volume, full-service restaurant experience in a management position; warm, passionate, and committed to the industry; excellent communication skills; ability to remain calm, cool, and collected under pressure; self-actualized and motivated; self-discipline; maintained professional appearance; butchering experience preferred; scratch kitchen experience preferred
