Position: Sous Chef job
About: Urban Organics LLC is a company located in Lafayette, CA, specializing in culinary operations. They are currently seeking a full-time Sous Chef to join their team in the San Francisco Bay Area. The Sous Chef will assist the head chef in daily culinary operations, manage kitchen staff, and ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met.
Requirements: Culinary Arts, Food Preparation, and Cooking skills; Menu Planning and Recipe Development skills; Team Leadership and Kitchen Management skills; Knowledge of Food Safety and Sanitation regulations; Excellent communication and organizational skills; Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment; Previous experience in a similar role is preferred; Culinary degree or certification is a plus
