About: Norman Regional Health System is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Food Production Supervisor to lead the daily operations of food production for Food and Nutrition Services. This role involves menu planning, purchasing, inventory management, and ensuring a high standard of food preparation to meet goals and deadlines. The supervisor will oversee production, retail, physician dining, and catering services staff, ensuring compliance with operational standards and maintaining a sanitary kitchen environment. Additionally, the role involves training and mentoring production staff and effectively communicating with team members and management to drive excellence in food service.
Requirements: Knowledge of nutrition and food service principles; personnel management skills; familiarity with food service laws and regulations; proficiency in kitchen equipment operation and maintenance; ability to work well under pressure and in emergency situations; strong verbal and written communication skills; excellent customer relations and interdepartmental coordination abilities; capacity to evaluate and manage employee performance effectively.
