Position: Sous Chef job
About: Brookdale Senior Living is seeking a diligent Sous Chef to assist with overseeing the day-to-day operation of the kitchen and maintaining the highest quality food products and service. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for ensuring kitchen cleanliness in accordance with sanitation and food safety standards, as well as preparing and coordinating culinary activities.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree preferred; proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role; knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures; understanding of food safety and sanitation practices; strong leadership and communication skills
