Position: Sous Chef / AKM
About: Papi Queso, a chef-driven grilled cheese concept located at Optimist Hall, is seeking a Sous Chef/Assistant Kitchen Manager to join their team. They are dedicated to providing exceptional service and hospitality to their guests, elevating the classic grilled cheese sandwich into a culinary experience with high-quality ingredients and outstanding customer service.
Requirements: College/Culinary degree and/or comparable experience in a professional kitchen; Minimum of three to five years in a food preparation supervisory position; Enhanced finance skills with an understanding of weekly budgets, costed menus, and schedules; Familiarity and proven communication protocol with managers and staff; Working knowledge of Accounting/Invoicing Software, Scheduling Software, Excel (spreadsheets), ServSafe
