Position: Soup Kitchen Cook (Sunset Park Corps)
About: A Soup Kitchen dedicated to providing meals to those in need is seeking a dedicated and experienced Cook to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a large volume of food for participants and maintaining the kitchen in an orderly manner.
Requirements: Must have Food Protection Certificate update; High school diploma or equivalent (not required but a plus); Good verbal and writing communication skills; A minimum of a year successful work experience in related field, experience in Food preparation/service and knowledge of proper food handling and safety; The ability to work pleasantly and compassionately with all types of people; Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds; Must be bilingual (English/Spanish)
