Position: Sommelier – Waldorf Astoria Chicago
About: Waldorf Astoria is looking for a Sommelier to join the food and beverage team in Chicago’s Gold Coast at this Forbes 4-Star property, featuring a Parisian-style charm with 318 rooms, banquet space, and 4 dining outlets including a restaurant, cocktail lounge, and cafe. The Sommelier will focus on wine at Brass Tacks and provide staff training, menu updates, and inventory management under the General Manager of Restaurants & Bars.
Requirements: Previous experience in a customer service role in the hotel/leisure/retail sector; Good grooming standards; Excellent communication skills; Passion and commitment to delivering exceptional guest service; Ability to work independently or in teams; Experience as a Wine waiter/ess/Sommelier; Sommelier qualifications
