Position: Sommelier – Part Time
About: Safe Harbor Peninsula Yacht Club is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Sommelier to enhance the dining experience by providing expert wine service, advice, and recommendations to guests. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Food and Beverage team to curate and maintain a fresh and diverse wine list.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; Previous experience as a Sommelier, Wine Steward, or in a related role in the hospitality industry preferred; In-depth knowledge of wines, wine regions, varietals, and food pairings; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Ability to manage time effectively, multitask, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment; Ability to stand for long periods of time; Ability to lift 50 pounds
