Position: Sommelier – New Contemporary Restaurant (Full Time & Steady Extra)
About: Wynn Resorts is currently seeking a Sommelier to join their team and assist with the outlet wine list, controlling costs, maintaining wine storage areas, training staff in proper wine service, and providing excellent guest service according to Wynn Las Vegas service standards.
Requirements: Candidates must be able to communicate, read and write in English fluently and in a professional manner; 2nd language a plus; Requires a minimum of 2 years work experience as a sommelier in a restaurant with an extensive wine program and previous work experience as a food server; Requires advanced service knowledge and expertise of wines, including vintages, regions, and food pairings; Sommelier Certification a plus; Requires the ability to work efficiently and within a team environment; Must be able to obtain and maintain any licensing or active work cards required, at present or in the future, for this position at all times; Applicants must be 21 years of age or above
