Position: Sommelier job
About: Knightsbridge Restaurant Group presents LA BISE, a modern French concept in downtown Washington, DC, dedicated to providing guests with top-notch food, wine, service, and hospitality in an inviting and sophisticated setting. The group is renowned for its high-quality dining experiences and is now seeking a dedicated Sommelier to join their team at La Bise.
Requirements: At least two years of experience in the restaurant industry working with a robust wine program; prior fine-dining experience preferred. Excellent food and wine knowledge with a strong foundation in the wines and cuisine of France. Strong understanding of POS and inventory systems. Desire and ability to teach and foster growth within staff. Ability to lead and manage a staff and take a hands-on approach to all aspects of service. Strong desire to contribute and elevate service and hospitality standards. Keen attention to detail, especially during a fast-paced service. Ability to communicate clearly, efficiently, and eloquently. Positive outlook and team-oriented mentality.
