Position: Sommelier job
About: Four Seasons Hotel Chicago, a vibrant hub of culture, style, and energy located steps away from the famed Magnificent Mile in Chicago, is seeking a dedicated Sommelier to curate and craft a world-class beverage program. The hotel features 345 elegant guest rooms and suites, a luxury spa, and a newly transformed restaurant, Adorn, known for globally inspired cuisine and craft cocktails in a lively and convivial atmosphere.
Requirements: Certification as a Court of Master Sommelier – Level 3 minimum preferred; minimum of 2 years’ experience as a sommelier/wine steward or similar role within a hotel or stand-alone environment; minimum age to serve alcohol; high school or equivalent education required; punctual with good attendance; ServSafe Certification, TIPs Certification, and ServSafe allergen training; dedication towards learning and motivation to progress in the Food and Beverage world; basic math skills; ability to operate a cash register and POS system; responsive to constructive feedback from hotel leadership.
