Position: Sommelier job
About: A prestigious restaurant is seeking a dedicated Sommelier to assist, supervise, and support the overall wine program within the establishment in collaboration with JAG and Property Beverage Department leads. Responsibilities include contributing to the introduction, education, and sales of products, as well as supporting service teams through development and education.
Requirements: Wine certification from a recognized organization a plus; Knowledge of Mediterranean wines and regions; Ability to communicate clearly in English; Familiarity with appropriate table settings and service ware; Thorough knowledge of menu items and service procedures; Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and organizational skills; Ability to work effectively under pressure; Physically capable of standing or walking for extended periods, lifting up to 15 lbs regularly, and occasionally lifting trays of food weighing up to 30 lbs.
