Position: Sommelier job
About: Blackberry Mountain, a luxury property part of Relais & Chateaux, known for its world-renowned hospitality and dedication to the land, is seeking a Mixologist/Sommelier to oversee bar and beverage operations, ensuring a 5-star experience for guests. The role involves developing innovative cocktail programs, maintaining inventory, and training staff on wines, spirits, and cocktails.
Requirements: 4-year degree in culinary arts preferred; experience in the hospitality industry preferred; technical school or formal training in Wine and Spirits preferred; excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to make decisions based on job knowledge and company goals; able to work long hours, lift up to 50 lbs, and operate company vehicles or golf carts
