Requirements: Proven experience as a Sommelier in a high-end restaurant or winery; Professional Sommelier certification (e.g., Court of Master Sommeliers, Wine & Spirit Education Trust); Extensive knowledge of wines, wine regions, and tasting techniques; Strong understanding of food and wine pairing principles; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment; Proficiency in inventory management and wine cellar organization; Demonstrated ability to conduct wine tastings and educational sessions; Familiarity with local and international wine regulations; Strong analytical skills for market trends and wine selection; Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with kitchen and service staff; Adaptability to work in a dynamic environment; Proficiency in using wine inventory management software; Knowledge of current wine trends and emerging wine regions; Familiarity with California wine regions is a plus
