Position: Sommelier – AVA Rooftop Bar
About: AVA is a rooftop destination in Miami for those looking to escape the everyday hustle and bustle, featuring classic craft cocktails and Mediterranean-inspired small plates perfect for sharing. They are currently seeking motivated hospitality professionals to join their team, offering a fun work environment, discounts to their venues and events, and thorough training.
Requirements: At least 1 year of serving experience in a fast-paced food and beverage venue, preferably in a nightclub environment; Knowledge of liquor brands, beer, wine, champagne, non-alcoholic beverages, designated glassware, and preparation methods preferred; Must meet state legal age requirements; Must be fluent in English, other languages preferred; Must be courteous, pleasant, and good-natured; Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required; Basic math skills for handling cash and credit transactions; Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
