Position: Social Media Communications Officer

About: Maricopa County Office of Communications is seeking a creative and skilled individual to join their team in the role of Social Media Content Creator. Maricopa County is known for its rapid growth and diverse services provided to its population of over four million people. The Office of Communications focuses on strategic and crisis communications, media relations, web design, branding, and social media strategy within the county government structure.

Requirements: One (1) year of public relations, public information, or media-related experience, including contributing content to social media channels; Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field; Knowledge of major social media platforms; Experience using social media management tools and design tools; Proficiency in creating engaging short-form video content; Fluency in Spanish; Understanding of Arizona’s political and governmental landscape
