Position: Ship Cook/Steward – Temporary
About: The Cook/Steward position is available at the University of Miami aboard the research vessel F.G. Walton Smith (WS), responsible for meal preparation and maintenance of living quarters for up to 20 people on board. The role requires cooking for special dietary needs and ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are met while facing challenging sea conditions.
Requirements: High school graduate is required; Culinary School completion preferred; One year of Chef/Steward experience on vessels; STCW qualified
