Position: Shift Manager
About: This job posting is for a position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee of McDonald’s. The franchisee has a license to use McDonald’s logos and food products but is a separate employer from McDonald’s USA. They are responsible for all employment matters at the restaurant, including hiring, firing, and scheduling employees.
Requirements: Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. Shift Managers provide leadership to the crew and other managers to maintain quality, service, and cleanliness standards. Key responsibilities include food safety, internal communication, inventory management, crew management, quality food production, exceptional customer service, safety and security, scheduling, and training. Previous leadership experience in a similar environment is preferred. Candidates must be 18 years or older to qualify for a managerial role in corporate-owned restaurants.
