Position: Shift Manager
About: This job posting is for a position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee of McDonald’s. The franchisee holds a license to use McDonald’s logos and food products. The franchisee is a separate company and employer from McDonald’s USA. If hired, the franchisee will be the employer responsible for all employment matters at the restaurant.
Requirements: Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. Shift Managers provide leadership to crew and other managers, monitor performance, maintain McDonald’s standards, ensure safety, security, profitability, and communicate effectively. Responsibilities include food safety, internal communication, inventory management, cleanliness, crew management, quality food production, customer service, safety and security, scheduling, and training. Previous leadership experience within restaurant, retail, or hospitality preferred. Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in corporate-owned restaurants.
