Position: Shift Manager
About: This job posting is for a position at a McDonald’s restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee. The franchisee has a license to use McDonald’s logos and food products but is a separate employer from McDonald’s USA. Employees will be hired by the franchisee, not McDonald’s USA.
Requirements: Managers lead shifts weekly to ensure fast, accurate, and friendly customer experiences. They provide leadership to crew and managers, monitor performance, ensure McDonald’s standards are met, handle safety, security, and profitability, and communicate effectively. Shift Managers are responsible for various tasks including food safety, inventory management, crew management, customer service, and training. Previous leadership experience preferred, ideally in restaurant, retail, or hospitality. Must be 18 or older for management roles at corporate-owned McDonald’s restaurants.
