Position: Service Bartender – French Quarter
About: Responsible for the set-up, maintenance, and operation of the service bar in New Orleans. This position involves taking to go orders, preparing and serving beverages to guests courteously, and promoting positive guest relations in a restaurant setting.
Requirements: None; Minimum of 18 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages; Minimum of 1 year experience as a bartender or bar-back; Ability to effectively communicate with managers, staff, and customers; Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations; Ability to handle money and make accurate change; Ability to provide legible communication; Flexible and adaptable with strong stress management skills; Certification in alcohol awareness program; High school diploma, some college; Certificate of training in liquor, wine, and food service; Experience in bartending, cash handling, and computers
