Position: Service Bartender
About: Under direct supervision of the Food & Beverage Supervisor, elia on the river is seeking an observant and efficient Barback/Bartender to enhance our team in a restaurant setting. The position requires maintaining efficient and courteous beverage operations by greeting guests, anticipating their needs, providing knowledgeable drink service, and ensuring professional guest relations with a positive demeanor. Extensive knowledge of Title 4 (Arizona liquor law) and adherence to health and safety regulations are essential aspects of the role.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED preferred; recent experience as a bartender in a recognized establishment or successful completion of six months in the TOGE Bar Back position; minimum age of 18; no felony, theft, or stealing convictions; ability to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and background investigation; knowledge of bartending, bar maintenance, customer service, all bar items, liquors, POS systems, and cash handling; ability to obtain Food Handlers card and TIPS certification; clear communication skills in Basic English; outstanding guest service and interpersonal skills; capacity to work in a stressful environment and follow detailed instructions; high energy, enthusiastic personality; physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 100 pounds, and work in a loud and smoky environment.
