Position: Service Attendant/Busser
About: The Service Attendant/Busser at the Cafe prepares and serves food items under the direction of the Cafe manager. The role involves tasks like pulling and wrapping bread, preparing various food items, stocking the front of the house, delivering food to guests, maintaining dining areas, and supporting company initiatives. Secondary functions may include roles like Expo, Cashier, Dishwasher, and Line Cook. Responsibilities may extend to maintaining displays, bussing tables, and ensuring accurate cash handling. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has strong communication skills, and is proficient in point of sale systems and basic math.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent or in pursuit of the same; completion of CBC driver training and possession of a valid driver’s license with insurance; State Foodhandler card/ServSafe certification; at least 3 months of guest service experience, preferably in a restaurant or retail setting; strong guest service and communication skills; organization and attention to detail; proficiency in POS systems, English language, and basic math skills
