Position: Server-Vancouver
About: The Rock Wood Fired Pizza is seeking Servers to sell and serve food and drinks in a professional manner. Essential duties include recommending and selling beverages, entering orders into the POS system, accepting payments, assisting with stocking and cleaning, and ensuring compliance with alcohol ordinances. The establishment values excellent customer service, suggestive sales skills, and physical ability to carry trays. Previous server experience and the willingness to work evenings and weekends are preferred. Knowledge of safety procedures and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are crucial in this fast-paced environment.
Requirements: Excellent customer service and people skills required; Must be able to suggestively sell food and beverage items; State Alcohol server license and food handler’s card required; Basic mathematical skills; ability to make change; Physical ability to carry medium trays with multiple drinks; Previous server/restaurant experience preferred; High energy and stamina are required; Ability to stay calm and work efficiently under pressure; Ability to prioritize job duties and manage time effectively; Strong verbal communication skills required; Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required; Ability to read menus, safety documents, etc.; Must be 18 years of age or older; Knowledge of safety procedures
