Position: Server Part Time
About: The Server position involves courteously serving resident and guest meals and overseeing the clean-up and resetting of the dining room after meal service in a senior living community setting. Responsibilities include maintaining knowledge of dining room and kitchen procedures, assisting residents with orders, providing beverage service, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for residents and guests.
Requirements: Must have a High School Diploma or GED; Must be in a clean designated uniform during working hours and maintain good personal hygiene; Must be able to read and follow simple instructions; Must possess the ability to perform simple, repetitive tasks; Must be able to learn quickly and apply learned principles; Must be able to communicate effectively and work under close supervision; Must be able to bend, reach, grasp, push and pull objects; Must be able to stand and walk for sustained periods up to three (3) hours at a time; Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis and carry heavy objects for 20 feet; Must be organized and willing to work well with other team members; Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays
