Position: Server – OMAKAI sushi Wynwood
About: A high-end casual fine-dining traditional sushi restaurant located in the picturesque Coconut Grove District in Miami, OMAKAI sushi, is seeking a hardworking and experienced server to join their elite team.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; Two years of serving experience required; SafeServe and Alcohol Serving certifications are required; Japanese cuisine knowledge is a plus; Positive and friendly attitude; Professional demeanor; Top-notch customer service skills; Ability to educate customers and make recommendations; Adherence to food allergy policies and safe food handling practices; Strong communication and teamwork skills; Ability to operate a point-of-sale system and handle money; Physical ability to stand for long periods, bend, lift trays up to 30 lbs, open bottles, pre-buss and buss tables, and maneuver between tables; Willingness to take instructions professionally
