Position: Server – Merwin’s Wharf
About: The Cleveland Metroparks facility is seeking a dedicated Server to ensure guests have a great dining experience. The Server will be responsible for positive guest interactions and efficient service in a friendly manner at the facility.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; Prior serving experience is preferred; Must be age 19 or older. Must complete ServSafe program; Basic restaurant operation knowledge preferred; Excellent oral communication and customer service skills; Ability to read and/or understand labels; Knowledge of workplace safety procedures; Strong organizational skills; Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders, including employees and the general public; Ability to speak and write clearly, concisely and persuasively using correct grammar, spelling and punctuation with ability to communicate one-on-one or in group settings; Ability to perform work with a high degree of accuracy and organization; Ability to work cooperatively with others; Ability to perform with considerable independence and initiative; Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
