Position: Server job
About: The Server is responsible for courteously serving resident and guest meals, and for clean-up and resetting of the dining room following meal service. Responsibilities include maintaining a good working knowledge of all dining room and kitchen responsibilities and procedures, understanding basic kitchen equipment operation, proper table setting, assisting residents with orders, providing beverage service, and attending required in-services and staff meetings.
Requirements: Must have a high school diploma or GED; must be in a clean designated uniform during working hours and maintain good personal hygiene; must be able to read and follow simple instructions; must possess the ability to perform simple, repetitive tasks; must be able to learn quickly and apply learned principles; must be able to communicate effectively and work under close supervision; must be able to bend, reach, grasp, push, and pull objects; must be able to stand and walk for sustained periods up to three (3) hours at a time; must be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis and carry heavy objects for 20 feet; must be organized and willing to work well with other team members; must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
