About: Harry’s Pizzeria, a renowned restaurant known for its delicious pizzas and welcoming ambiance, is seeking a dedicated Server to join their team. The Server will report to the General Manager and Restaurant Manager to ensure exceptional service for all guests, including taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and maintaining a pleasant dining experience for visitors.
Requirements: Education and/or Experience: A minimum of 1 year’s experience in a restaurant position; possess math skills and ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system; ability to learn the menu and maintain knowledge of changes provided by management; Language Skills: Ability to read, speak, and interpret documents in clear English; effective communication with managers, kitchen, dining room personnel, and guests; Physical Ability: Work in a standing position for extended periods; lift items weighing up to 20 to 25 pounds; exceptional grooming habits and clean uniform maintenance; Reasoning Ability: Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions and deal with problems effectively.
