About: PONTE Modern American is seeking dedicated and service-oriented Servers to provide exceptional dining experiences to patrons. Servers at PONTE work diligently in the front of the restaurant, managing orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring timely table maintenance. They also play a vital role in restaurant setup and closure.
Requirements: Positive attitude; clean appearance; ability to upsell and make menu recommendations; collaborate effectively with restaurant servers, kitchen, and bar staff; excellent team player; capable of handling adversity and involving management in challenging situations; proficient in issuing bills and processing payments following service protocols; maintains high standards of food handling and sanitation; demonstrates in-depth knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and can advise guests on suitable food and drink pairings; accommodates guest requests and preferences; familiarity with specialized diets and allergens; communicates effectively with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and special requests fulfillment; promptly addresses and resolves complaints; ensures proper setup and cleanliness of dining area; follows sanitation standards; willing to perform additional assigned duties.
