About: The Forum at Memorial Woods is a beautiful community in Houston, TX, with more than 325 units offering independent living, assisted living, and Alzheimer’s care. The Server is part of the Culinary Team and provides exceptional dining experiences for residents by delivering courteous and efficient service. Responsibilities include taking meal orders, serving meals correctly and efficiently, providing exceptional customer service, maintaining awareness of food allergies and preferences, delivering meals with professionalism, cleaning and resetting dining areas, engaging with residents and community members, maintaining menu knowledge, relaying messages to the kitchen, using technology for communication, and ensuring customer service, food service, and communication.
Requirements: Must be a minimum of sixteen (16) years of age; Must possess, at a minimum, a 10th grade education, have completed a similar educational level, or have sufficient work experience; 1-year experience as a server/waiter or in a similar food service environment; Working knowledge of health and safety policies and procedures; Freedom from illegal use of drugs; Freedom from use and effects of drugs and alcohol in the workplace; Persons found guilty of abusing, neglecting, or mistreating individuals in a healthcare setting are ineligible for employment; Demonstrates effective time management skills
