About: The Palms of Mount Pleasant is a beautiful community in Mount Pleasant, SC, offering independent living, assisted living, and Alzheimer’s care. The Server is part of the Culinary Team and provides exceptional dining experiences for residents by delivering courteous and efficient service. Responsibilities include taking meal orders, providing exceptional customer service, being mindful of food allergies and preferences, delivering meals with professionalism, engaging with residents, maintaining menu knowledge, relaying messages to the kitchen, and using technology for clear communication. This position involves customer service, food service, and communication roles.
Requirements: Must be a minimum of sixteen (16) years of age; must possess, at a minimum, a 10th-grade education, completed a similar educational level, or have sufficient work experience; 1-year experience as a server/waiter or in a similar food service environment; working knowledge of health and safety policies and procedures; freedom from illegal use of drugs; freedom from use and effects of drugs and alcohol in the workplace; effective time management skills.
