The hotel is the first Passive House certified hotel and the first net-zero energy hotel in the United States, offering 165 rooms, a full-service restaurant, gallery, and 7,000 square feet of meeting space. Requirements: One year of prior food and beverage experience preferred; prior guest relations training; knowledge of proper food handling; ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, co-workers, and management to their understanding; strong written/verbal communication skills; positive, upbeat attitude/personality; ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness, and work with minimum supervision; punctuality and reliable attendance are required; proper food safety training and certification as described by law; experience working with computers (MS Office/Google), POS (Micros, Aloha, etc.), and reservation software (Open Table); various physical movements throughout the work areas, such as reaching, extending arms overhead, bending, and stooping, are performed safely; ability to push and pull vacuum cleaners as well as wheeled carts weighing up to 25 pounds
