Position: Server Infrastructure Engineer
About: Epic is seeking an exceptional early-career IT professional to join their multi-tenant Hosting team as a Server Infrastructure Engineer. The position involves building, managing, and troubleshooting complex data center interoperability and configuration for Epic’s large x86 server infrastructure in the USA and United Kingdom. The role also includes serving as a subject matter expert for designing and implementing support for their software.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in CIS, IS, IT, or a related field; relocation to Madison, WI area (reimbursed); eligibility to work in the U.S without visa sponsorship; COVID-19 vaccination; preferred experience or interest in hands-on administration and troubleshooting within Server Infrastructure (Blade, rackmount), knowledge of Server Management products (Cisco UCS Central, Lenovo xClarity Administrator, Dell OpenManage Enterprise), knowledge of VMware HA, DRS, DIMMs, power supplies, or other server hardware, troubleshooting experience within SAN and network configurations, OS Support (VMware, Windows, Linux).
