Position: Server Assistant

The Server Assistant position is about ensuring the guest dining experience, as a whole, is enjoyable, well-timed, and pleasant; providing a professional and inviting attitude when interacting with guests and employees; helping the guest select menu items by thoroughly going over the food and bar menus, recommending cocktails, suggesting courses, explaining chefs’ features, and identifying wines in accordance with Perry’s food and beverage training; thoroughly answering all food and beverage preparation questions; making managers aware of any special accommodations, such as specific food allergies, prior to reporting it to the kitchen; maintaining the cleanliness of tables and the dining area around guests and completing opening, running, and closing side work related to job duties.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in a restaurant setting preferred; strong knowledge of food and beverage menus; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; attention to detail and cleanliness
