Position: Server – $6.00 – $6.50/hr
About: Shipyard Pub and Cafe, a part of HMSHost at Portland International Jetport located in the Main Terminal, Gate A04 at 1001 Westbrook Street, Portland, ME 04102, is currently seeking a Server to join their team. The Server will be responsible for taking food and beverage orders, ensuring timely service, and providing excellent customer service in a high-volume dining environment.
Requirements: Must meet state minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages; at least 6 months of closely related serving experience; ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly manner; capable of lifting and moving up to 20 lbs; proficient in walking, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods; strong communication skills and ability to comprehend instructions and converse with customers; comfortable with hands-on work involving water and chemical solutions
