Position: Senior Purchasing Manager
About: Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee, United States is seeking a detail-oriented individual for the position of Purchasing Manager in the Finance & Accounting department. This role involves following procedures in ordering, receiving, storing, distributing, and payment of items, as well as maintaining budgeted food and controllable costs. The Purchasing Manager will play a key role in ensuring quality and profitability in purchasing operations.
Requirements: 4-year bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting or related major; or a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Purchasing or a related field. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for this role. Ability to compile, analyze, and verify information accurately is required. Knowledge of inventory control, budget management, and sanitation standards is preferred.
