Position: SENIOR PROGRAM SPECIALIST (THEATRE AND CULTURAL SERVICES EVENTS)
About: The City of Torrance is recruiting for Senior Program Specialists to be part of the Community Services Team. The Community Services Department is committed to providing quality services, activities, programs, and facilities for all those who live, learn, work, and play in the City of Torrance. The Department’s mission is to enrich the community through recreational, cultural, and educational opportunities for individuals of all abilities. The Department consists of five divisions: Administrative Services, Cultural Services, Library Services, Parks Services, and Recreation Services.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; two years of part-time experience as a Program Specialist; BA/BS in Recreation, Cultural Studies, or related field desirable; Negative tuberculin test; Valid California Class C Driver’s License may be required; Certification in Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) desirable
